On the surface, Folly Farms is a training and boarding facility for
horses and their riders. We teach horsemanship skills – from care
and grooming to horse behavior management . . . from recreational
horseback riding to performance in the show arena. We also have a
nonprofit organization that provides learning and therapeutic
programs using horses.
But Folly Farms is so much more!
The farm provides a forum in which life skills as well as
horsemanship skills are fostered...self-confidence, focus,
compassion, responsibility, patience, communication skills...traits
that carry over into life outside the farm.
We have a strong youth program, as well as many adults that are
starting or expanding their horsemanship experience. It is never too
late in life to benefit from the lessons working with horses can teach
us. Not a day goes by that working with horses on the farm doesn't
offer an opportunity to grow and learn in this life God has given us.
